Loena Marion Armstrong Holy was born June 14, 1934, in Carrizo Springs, Texas, to William Herbert and Rosebud Alma Loena (Churchill) Armstrong. She passed away from this life on March 10, 2023, at the age of 88.
Mrs. Holy was a pillar of her family and loved dearly. She found joy in spending time with her family and loved ones on holidays, vacations, and camping trips. She loved to play cards and work puzzle books. One of Loena’s most treasured accomplishments in life was being a mother to her children and “Mema” to her grandchildren. She will be missed deeply, but her family finds peace in knowing she is with the Lord.
Mrs. Holy is survived by her daughters, Sharie Clark, Loretta Henderson & husband Bobby, Tammie Kasprzak; brother, Bill Armstrong & wife Barbara; fifteen grandchildren, thirty- eight great- grandchildren, numerous great- great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchild, as well as many other loved ones and family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Odis Holy; children, Catherine Rose Holy, Mary Michelle Nutt; brother, Melvin Armstrong; and sister, Francis Walden.
A visitation for Mrs. Holy will be held from 12:00pm – 2:00pm Sunday, March 26, 2023, with a Celebration of life to begin at 2:00pm, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas. Interment to follow at Peebles Cemetery, in Livingston, Texas.
